This policy explains what ZeroCut collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
To run your account, match clients with freelancers, process payments through Stripe, hold and release escrow, send in-app and push notifications you have enabled, provide support, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal information.
With the other party to a project, to the extent needed for that project to happen (for example a client and their chosen freelancer see each other's project messages and files). With Stripe, to process payments. With service providers who help us run the site, under appropriate obligations. And where required by law. That is the extent of it.
We use a session cookie so you stay signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we detect your location or timezone to help set up your profile, that happens with your permission and only when you use that feature.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Payments run over encrypted connections through Stripe, and private uploads are kept out of public reach.
You can view and update most of your information from your account settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us and we will help. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.
ZeroCut is for adults and is not directed at children. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Questions or requests? Reach us through our Contact page.
